One parent, one printer, a lot of PLA

The Fun FAB is a one-person workshop in a Serangoon flat. It started in mid-2026 with a Bambu Lab X2D, a shelf of filament and a simple idea: the things that go into a child's goodie bag could be nicer than the things that usually do.

The first designs were clicker keychains — a dumpling, a macaron, a mushroom — small enough to hang on a school bag and satisfying enough to keep pressing. They went up on Shopee, then here. Personalised name tags and party packs followed, because that is what people kept asking for.

Everything is printed, checked and packed by one pair of hands. If a piece comes off the plate with a blemish it gets reprinted, not sent. Layer lines are part of how these are made; rough edges are not.

Some of what's here is our own design. A good deal of the work is other people's files — a replacement knob, a prototype, a batch of branded pieces for an office — which is why the send your design page exists and why the reply comes from a person on WhatsApp rather than a form.
